Week 16 Results - Thursday 10th March 2022.  - Nigel Dennis Memorial Cup Finals Night.

 
7.00pm   Nettleham beat Reepham by 5 wickets.
 
Reepham 94-3 from 10 overs.  Rick Bell 26 not out (3x4), Paul Edlington 26 not out (2x6 and 1x4), Jon Mackinder 18 not out (1x4), Jack Dent 10.   3 run outs in the last over.
 
Nettleham 97-1 from 8.1 overs.  Dan McCardell 29 not out (3x6 and 1x4), Haydn Bromfield 28 not out (2x6 and 4x4), Robin Curtis 12 not out (1x6), Rick Bell 1-14 from 3 overs.
 
8.00pm   Old Lincolnians beat Cherry Willingham 1sts by 2 wickets.
 
Cherry Willingham 1sts 63-4 from 10 overs.   Lee Coupland 25 ot out (2x6), Matt Carter 1-14 from 3 overs, Will Carter 1-15 from 3 overs, George Cooper 1-16 from 3 overs.
 
Old Lincolnians 64-4 from 9.4 overs.   Matt Carter 22 not out (1x6 and 2x4), Caleb Pipes-Goulsbra 2-7 from 2 overs, Andy Johnson 1-13 from 2 overs.
 
9.00pm   Old Lincolnians beat Nettleham by 98 runs.
 
Old Lincolnians 147-5 from 10 overs.   Will Carter 36 not out (2x6 and 5x4), Matt Carter 27 (1x6 and 4x4), Tim Kester 22 (2x6 and 1x4), Sam Naughton 21 (1x6 and 3x4)
 
Nettleham 49-5 from 10 overs.  Robin Curtis 15 (2x4), Liam Townhill 2-12 from 3 overs, George Cooper 2-20 from 3 overs.  Wicket each for Martin Strawson, Haydn Bromfield and Luke Jenkin
 
NOTE:
 
This was Old Lincolnians first win in the Nigel Dennis Memorial Cup, while Nettleham were making their first appearance in the final since winning the cup in 2009-2010.
Cherry Willingham won the league for a record 10th consecutive year and will represent Lincolnshire in the ECB National Indoor Finals in Spring 2023.  They are through to the Regional Finals of this years competition which they will play later in March.  
Dave Manby created history this season for being on the winning team for the 15th consecutive year (First five victories with Nettleham and the last 10 with Cherry Willingham).
