Lincolnshire County Cricket Double Dozen U11/U13 Week 9 & 10

 Week 9

Last night saw R9 of our U11 & U13 (North) Winter Indoor League, proudly sponsored by Clixby Active Pro Sports Ltd.

Huge congratulations to Broughton Cricket Club - Lincs U11's who not only kept their unbeaten streak going, but were crowned League Champions, courtesy of a 13 run victory over a depleted hybrid Haxey Cricket Club Newsfeed & Normanby Park Cricket Club side.

Well done to Sean Clixby & his troops 🎉, who will now represent the North U11's at a County Final next month. Can they remain unbeaten for the whole competition?

Haxey Cricket Club Newsfeed & Normanby Park Cricket Club moved one step closer to the U13 title by defeating Alkborough Cricket Club by 46 runs & even more impressively didn't lose a wicket for the second week in a row 👏. One more win for this team will see them over the line & become the U13 League winners.

We go again next week

 Week 10

Wednesday evening saw R10 of our U11 & U13 (North) Winter Indoor League, proudly sponsored by Clixby Active Pro Sports Ltd.

A penultimate ball thriller in the U11 contest saw the hybrid Haxey Cricket Club Newsfeed & Normanby Park Cricket Club beat Alkborough Cricket Club by 2 runs.

The U13 fixture saw Broughton Cricket Club - Lincs beat Alkborough Cricket Club by 36 runs, with a top score of 22 by Broughton Cricket Club - Lincs Thomas Clixby, which included the batting holy grail of a 12.

This result sees the U13 League go down to the wire with Outcasts  Cricket  Club & Broughton Cricket Club - Lincs both sitting just behind Haxey Cricket Club Newsfeed/ Normanby Park Cricket Club.

Destiny is still in their hands & if they can defeat Broughton Cricket Club - Lincs next week in the penultimate week of fixtures, they will become the League winners.

Bring it on 😁
